Congratulations on your engagement! Now the fun part begins — planning your wedding. Here at Castle Hill Resort and Spa, we offer a variety of wedding packages to simplify the process.

Our formal entry hall, library, and terrace are perfect for a cocktail hour mixer while just steps away in the fresh Green Mountain area is our function tent, with capacity for up to 250 people.

We have a 100-guest minimum for Saturday weddings and our professional staff will make sure that every detail is as perfect as our exquisite surroundings.

Additionally, here is some general information about hosting a wedding at Castle Hill Resort & Spa:

Ceremony Arrangements
Many wedding ceremonies take place here at Castle Hill Resort & Spa (in the library, in the flower garden, or on the terrace), or at one of the local churches. We are happy to provide a resource list of area churches and Justices of the Peace. A ceremony set-up fee applies to all wedding ceremonies performed at Castle Hill Resort and Spa.

Food and Beverage Arrangements
Menu suggestions as well as pricing are listed above. We can also plan menus for weddings and other special gatherings with the input of the party’s hosts. We encourage you to advise us of your selections at your earliest convenience and no later than 60 days prior to your wedding date.

A final guest count must be provided 14 days prior to the event. This will be considered your minimum group guarantee. Your bill may be adjusted if additional guests are served. Meals for photographers, band members, etc. will be an additional charge.

Restrictions
No food or beverage may be brought from the outside. Exceptions must be approved in advance and will be subject to plating fees. Throwing of rice, glitter, flower pedals, confetti, or bubbles is NOT permitted either inside or on the hotel grounds. Children must be under direct supervision at all times. Child care will be required for guest lists with more than 5 children under 12 years of age.

Five hours is allocated for the reception. Extended hours with advance arrangements is charged at an hourly rate. Castle Hill Resort reserves the right to stop serving any guest who appears intoxicated. Last call for all evening functions will be 11:00 p.m. Due to strict Vermont liquor laws, no personal liquor is allowed on the grounds or in any public area. Private bars in the guest rooms are not permitted.

Facility Fee
A facility fee applies to all functions taking place here at Castle Hill Resort.

Room Requirements
Check-in for all rooms is after 3p.m. All rooms must be reserved and guaranteed by the bride and groom. Castle Hill Resort requires all 10 rooms in the mansion to be booked for 2 nights.

Taxes and Gratuities
Current Vermont meals and rooms tax, current alcohol tax, and 20% service charge will be added to all functions.

Payment
A deposit is required to reserve your date. One half of the contract amount is due 60 days prior to your event with the remaining balance due 7 days before your event. All payments must be made by credit card or cashiers check.
